About the park and accommodation

Snug Beach Cabin and Caravan Park offers beach front holiday accommodation at Snug, in southern Tasmania. Snug is a 30 minute drive south from Hobart (24 kilometres) and 10 minutes from Kingston (10 kilometres) The park overlooks North West Bay and across to Bruny Island on the D’Entrecasteaux Channel. The property has self-contained cabins, powered and unpowered sites, set among landscaped gardens.

The one- and two-bedroom family cabins can accommodate up to seven guests and have well equipped kitchens and a comfortable lounge area. There are powered sites to suit all lengths and styles of caravan, motor home and camper-trailer, including a number of long sites and some drive through-sites. The level, grassed camping area has absolute beach frontage.

There is a well-equipped amenities block including facilities for people with disabilities, a coin operated laundry and a camp kitchen with undercover barbeques, television and a log fire for the cooler evenings. The park provides a free Wifi connection to the internet.

We had always found Amy, Brad, Max and all the other staff to be polite, knowledgeable and caring. The Easter BBQ that Amy and Brad put on was absolutely awesome. It was a great way for all campers to get together and associate. The amenities were cleaned every day without fail and the bins emptied also on a daily basis.Max the yardie, well let's put it this way. The sites were generous in size. The ammentities were fantastic, and always clean. The laundry was well equipped, including a notes to coin exchanger, along with a card to coin facility as well. I noted they even had a dog wash! A great park that we wouldn't hesitate to recommend.MelyMely ★★★★★ In my travels in different countries I spent hundreds of days on campingrounds but I've never had such a good experience as in this one. First of all the location for our tent was amazing. We had a spot directly next to the access to the beach with a great view for every morning when we opened the tent. The kitchen was awesome, especially because of the fire that you could do every day that made the room warm but also comfortable and cosy. Everything is clean and tidy and the staff takes much care of the place with a good eye for the detail. But what impressed me most was how friendly, understanding, helpful and caring everyone was in this place. You can always talk with someone in the office and they always help you out in every situation. When I went into the office to ask for a favour about our stay, she did not only gave us this favour, she also saw that I had some problems with my hand. She asked what it was about and I answered that I cut myself with a knife, it was pretty deep. So she immediately looked for a first aid kit to disinfect the wound, put strips on it and cover it in a professional and good way.I don't know what to say, I just never had such an experience. It was so kind, so caring, so helpful, so understanding. I can only recommend everyone to go this place if you are around and look for a nice campinground to stay. Thank you for everything!brooke B.brooke B. ★★★★★ Very friendly staff, top location right next to the beach and not far to Hobart central.
